In response to the tragedy at the Novi Sad Railway Station, public officials from Montenegro have sent messages of sympathy to the families of the victims, the leaders, and the citizens of Serbia.
Milun Zogovic, the Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro for basic facilities and area growth, expressed his deepest sympathy to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Prime Minister Milos Vucevic, Speaker of the Assembly Ana Brnabic, Mayor of Novi Sad Milan Duric, and the families of the deceased.
“The tragedy that occurred in Novi Sad has deeply moved our hearts and brought us together in sadness and prayers. We share in the sorrow of our brotherly Novi Sad and Serbia, especially with the families who have lost their loved ones. In these difficult times for all of us, my thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims, and I wish a quick recovery for those injured. With the hope that such tragedies never happen again, please accept my sincerest sympathy,” stated Zogovic.
Minister of Internal Affairs Danilo Saranovic sent a message of sympathy to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Internal Affairs of Serbia, Ivica Dacic.
“On behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and in my personal capacity, I offer my sincerest sympathy to you and all the citizens of Serbia due to the tragedy you have faced. In these tough times, we genuinely share in your sadness and feel your pain, and we wish a quick recovery for the injured,” Saranovic’s message reads.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimovic sent a letter of sympathy to Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Duric.
“I am deeply moved by the news of the loss of human lives in the sad event that occurred at the Novi Sad Railway Station. With sorrow and regret, I extend my sincerest sympathy to the families who have lost their loved ones and to you, on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and myself,” noted Ibrahimovic.
